The Burleson community has had our backs from day one, Roots Garden Center is committed to giving back by educating people about plants, providing planting services and donation of plants to the city, and participating in community events.
Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to!
Early on Roots Garden Center was able to attend the Burleson Independence Day Parade.
Arbor Day 2019 Roots Garden Center donated a red oak to the city of Burleson at Bailey Lake Park.
Scott with a local Boy Scout troop after a demonstration on vegetable gardening in 2020. The boys left with their own vegetable plants!
Roots Garden Center was given the opportunity to plant summer annuals at the Mayor Vera Calvin Plaza March 2023!
Scott and Aspen attended Career Day at Stribling Elementary to discuss owning a small business and operating a nursery! Students recieved a flowering plant to take home!
Roots Garden Center was contacted to plant at the BRICK building April 2023.
Scott and Aspen attended the Earth Day Celebration at Russell Farm and hosted a talk about using Texas native plants in landscapes!
